Our Work Together

Do you sometimes feel like if you just get over that next hill, it’s going to be smooth sailing, but then there is always another hill? I help people struggling with dissatisfaction in their careers, lack of professional progress and momentum, demotivation, job loss and instability, discontent in their relationships, and experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depression. Informed by Jungian, psychodynamic, humanist, existential, somatic and mindfulness-based therapies, I help people connect with their inner guidance and emotional language of their bodies and converse with their unconscious through reflecting on relationships, dreams, creativity, imagination, play, and humor so they can reconsider their biases and paradigms, accept their lack of control, and move forward to live the life they want. Through our work together, my clients are more adaptable, have patience with themselves and others, can see things more clearly, create stronger relationships, have more access to all parts of themselves, have more agency and better coping skills, and experience more peace.

I help couples grappling with miscommunication, relational patterns, and emotions that get in the way of connection, life and work stress, a lack of empathy for each other, and misunderstanding each other’s perspectives and needs. Using a combination of psychodynamic, emotionally focused/attachment-based perspectives, mindfulness, somatic, and nonviolent communication, I help these couples get to the root of their challenges so they can break free of the negative cycles holding them back from having the relationship they both want. Through our work together, my clients develop better communication skills, more empathy for each other, an awareness of their partner’s needs, know how to effectively communicate their needs, and develop a stronger bond and connection in their relationship.

I don’t accept insurance, but I provide the appropriate documentation for insurance reimbursement and, if you choose, I work with a platform that helps clients get money back on out-of-network therapy sessions. It’s completely optional, and as your therapist I do not benefit in any way from your participation. If you have out-of-network benefits, they can file claims on your behalf and handle the insurance paperwork to make sure you get reimbursed.
